David Curran

Assistive technology and AI in education

David has worked in education for more than twenty-six years, across teaching, leadership, SEND support and careers education. He helps schools and organisations use assistive technology and AI in practical, human-centred ways — work that became personal when his daughter met barriers in mainstream schooling while he was supporting pupils in a dyslexia-specialist setting. He presents nationally and internationally, including a UNESCO IITE webinar on inclusive AI, and contributed to AI Bias in Education.
